Please go to the User settings in the Single User version, or to the user management in the multi user version and point to "Additional modules" to assign the synchronization module to certain users.
Choose PC/Notebook and an activation file will be created. Send this file to your laptop and save it in the program folder of Xpert-Timer.
If you want to connect an Android device with your database, an activation code will be generated and also a sync-ID. You can use both to activate the synchronization on your mobile phone. In this case, a sync file is not necessary.

The synchronization is based on timestamps. So if you use the synchronization, make sure your Windows time on both devices is the same. A difference of a couple of minutes shouldn't cause any problems, but if the discrepancy is larger, this might cause problems. |
